Greenhouse Pool
Competitive swimmers around the world had to abandon their training plans, due to the outbreak of Covid-19 virus. But, Bosnian junior swimming champion Iman Avdić, has found a way around.
With help from her dad, swimming coach Evelin Avdic, she set up a swimming pool inside a 3×2 meter greenhouse in her grandparents backyard. At first, they have set it up without the greenhouse, but as it was too cold, he had to change the plan, so he bought a used greenhouse and put the pool inside.
“This is all very strange for me, but everything can be done as before just in a slightly different way. I like it here and I am happy to have been able to swim. But, to be honest, I really miss the pool.” said Iman.
Iman holds national records at 50m and 1500m freestyle, 100m, 200m, 400m mixed style and 200m dolphin, backstroke and breaststroke style.
